New Music: Big Sean “What Goes Around”

Kanye West’s protegé Big Sean new track “What Goes Around” was released. The song was produced by NO .I.D. and is off his debut LP Finally Famous: The Album, which will be released June 21. The album features collaborations with Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, No I.D. and Mike Posner.

I am a fan of Big Sean music and I think this track is dope. Big Sean has a lot of talents and I will like to see him at the top. Also, Big Sean has one of the nicest attitudes in this business. When I met him at his XXL magazine cover shoot, he was so polite and respectful. Shouts-out to Big Sean.

XXL Names Greatest 90s Rap Song In Upcoming Issue; Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ But A G Thang”Came In At Number One

This upcoming issue of XXL magazine will be presenting a special, collector’s issue; that counts down the top 250 hip-hop songs from 1990-1999. The artists who made the list, were judge based off of being important, influential and, of course, the illest joints from the 1990s.  Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ But A G Thang”came in at number one.

XXL 250 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs 1990-1999 hits newstands nationwide on May 24.

Jay-Z Styling On Them Lames In A $5,107 Balmain Leather Punk Jacket

I previously reported that Brooklyn’s rapper Jay-Z  performed at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC for the 2011 Adult Swim Upfront concert, this past Wednesday. During Jay’s performance, he was styling on them lames in a $5,107 Balmain leather punk jacket. The jacket can be purchase at Barney’s New York. In related Jay-Z’s news, he recenlty inked a partnership deal with Adult Swim.

The Good Life: Kanye West Driving A Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR In Cannes, France

As I have been reporting all week, Kanye West is vacaying in Cannes, France. He have been there since last weekend, for the  annual Cannes Film Festival. Yeezy was recently seen at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala, making a grand entrance in a  Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss sports coupe. There are only 75 of the limited edition sport cars made and cost $1.7 million. Also Yeezy rocked a tuxedo and shapes.

Spotted: Chris Brown & His Girlfriend Karrueche Vacaying In Disneyland [With Pictures]

Earlier in the week, Singer Chris Brown and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran were spotted vacaying in Disneyland for her birthday. Disneyland is a theme park located in Anaheim, California, owned and operated by the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of The Walt Disney Company. Breezy and Karrueche were spotted walking around and riding rides at the theme park; with a few of their close friends.

Breaking News: Former Cash Money Rapper B.G. Indicted On Gun Charges; Facing Up 10 Years In Prison

Yesterday Thursday (May 19) former Cash Money rapper B.G. was indicted on federal gun and obstruction charges. The charges are from a 2009 incident, when the New Orleans native and two other men were arrested when police stopped their car. During the search of the vehicle, law enforcement officers found three guns, loaded magazines and extended clips. If that’s not enough, two of the three guns were reported stolen. According to prosecutors, “B.G. then conspired with two others to get a 19-year-old associate named Demounde Pollard to claim ownership of the guns, forcing him to sign a false affidavit that cleared the rapper’s name.” As of press, B.G., who is already a felon, faces up to 10 years in prison if he is convicted.

Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights” Goes Platinum

Def Jam rapper Kanye West earned another platinum plaque. His forth single “All Of The Lights,” from his platinum selling album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy recently reached platinum status.

According to Billboard, The Chi-Town native 11 artist-featured song, which was released as a single in January, officially crossed the million mark in digital sales. The song also reached spot #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 two weeks ago.

Congrats Kanye from YoDonBleekRaps, Don Bleek, Dollah Tha Rapper and Shakeil F.
