Yeezy was wearing over $300k worth of gold chains which included his custom Takashi Murakami Jesus piece. Also, Yeezy wore a pair of $915 Louis Vuitton Patchwork Don sneakers from his collection; with the Just DON Dallas Mavericks snakeskin cap.

This past Tuesday (June 21), Kanye West’s protegé Big Sean had a pre-release concert at Irving Plaza in NYC, for his debut album Finally Famous: The Album. During the show Big Sean brought out Kanye West, for their collabo “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay.” Also, music mogul Jay-Z, Kevin Liles, DJ Enuff and Pusha T were backstage. Peep the pictures below:

This past Tuesday (June 21) YMCMB rapper Drake was at Southpaw in Brooklyn. Drizzy was there for the Elevator Fight show and FADER caught up with him for a brief interview. In the video interview, Drizzy speaks on his sophomore album, Take Care and says the official first single will be coming in a week or two. Take Care is scheduled to hit stores this fall. ATL R&B singer Monica is gearing-up to release her new album New Life, this fall. The Jive Records recording artist will be dropping her 7th studio album October 4. Mo will be releasing her official first single within the next two weeks. The album will include production from Missy Elliott and Polow Da Don.
This will be the follow-up to Mo’s Grammy-nominated last album Still Standing, which entered at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart last year.,
“The label [J Records] has asked me, do I want to take an October 4 date,” Monica told fans during a Ustream session. “Over the next month I’ll decide because as of right now, we’re pressing up the new single and trying to get some clearances which are very difficult, so if anything changes it will only be because of that. We’re working on it and I’m thinking that I will keep that October 4 date.” A tour is also in the works, but Monica did not disclose further details.

Miami’s Hip-Hop superstar Rick Ross took the last plane to Paris, just like a boss should and landed at the Zenith Theater. Ross performed in front of a sold out crowd. The Teflon Don performed some of his biggest hits, like “I’m A Boss,” “9 Piece,” “Hustlin” and more. This Sunday Ross will be performing at the BET Awards. Peep the footage below:

Yesterday Wednesday (June 23) rap producer Kanye West was spotted walking across the street in NYC. He was going to get some sushi at posh eatery Lure Fishbar in SoHo. Yeezy was styling on them lames in a limited edition Prada embroidered monkeys t-shirt, a pair of mustard yellow pants and all white Balenciaga sneakers. Also Yeezy was wearing a Just DON Dallas Maverick snakeskin cap.
I love Yeezy style. He’s a one of a kind and in my opinion, “Yeezy is the best dress male rapper in the industry.”

New Jerz rapper Joe Budden was spotted in Miami rocking a pair of ”Bordeaux” Air Jordan Retro 7. In the picture below, Budden was wearing a pair of Air Jordan Retro 6. Budden recently released his new mixtape Mood Muzik 4.5. In my opinion, Budden is one of the most lyrical emcees in the game. Besides Fabolous and Cassidy, I don’t think it’s another rapper touching Budden lyrically.

The track is titled “Schoolin’ Life” and is a sexy/freaky anthem dedicated to those 20-somethings, 30- somethings, 40-somethings. The track is off the deluxe edition of Beyoncé’s upcoming album 4. The song was written and produced by The Dream and has an old 80′s funk feel reminiscent of Prince. Listen below:
