Fashion Me Dope: An Inside Look At Tyga’s “Careless World” Promo Shoot [PICTORIAL]

Images of YMCMB rapper Tyga promo shoot for his upcoming LP Careless World: Rise of the Last King were released on the Interweb. After numerous delays, the disc is scheduled to hit shelves on December 20. In the Pamela Littky photo shoot, Tyga was rocking designer brands such as Versace, SUPER, Rolex and a gray fur vest. Tyga’s new single “Still Got It” Ft. Drake is making it way to the top of the charts. He is currently touring on Chris Brown’s “F.A.M.E.” tour. Peep the pictures below:

Styling On Them Lames: Meek Mill Rocking A Gold-Plated “H” Hermes Belt

This past Friday, (October 28), Philly’s radio station Power 99 Fm held their annually “Power House” concert at the Wells Fargo Center. MMG rapper Meek Mill was one of the performers at the event. The North Philly native was styling on them lames in a gold-plated “H” Hermes belt. Meek was also rocking a Polo tee-shirt with a pair of fitted black denim. Meek and fashion designer Marc Ecko recently formed a partnership for his own clothing line, “Dream Chasers,” to be distributed through Ecko.

“They was the first person that really, that believed in me,” said Meek. “I’m always into working with the first person that believes in me. Once you get things poppin’, everybody’s gonna start believing in you then, but if the first people that believed in you come with the right situation, it’s always good to start with them,” added Meek.

The collaboration is scheduled to hit shelves in 2012. The brand will include varsity jackets, tee shirts, rugby shirts, sweats, jeans and more.

Meek Mill is also gearing up to release his “I’m A Boss” remix Ft. T.I., Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, Baby& Fabolous.

On The Scene: Celebs At A$AP Rocky Listening Session

Harlem’s rapper A$AP Rocky and RCA Records recently held a private listening session in New York City for his upcoming mixtape LiveLoveRocky, which will feature members of the A$AP crew, surprise guests, and production by in-house producer A$AP Ty Beats. The disc is scheduled to hit the Interweb tomorrow Monday (October 31). Jim Jones, Lloyd Banks, Ryan Leslie, Mos Def and more attended the event. Almost two weeks ago, A$AP Rocky signed a record deal with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records. This past summer, the 23-year-old New York native became popular and made a name for himself with his singles “Purple Swag” and “Peso,” which got millions of views online and is already in heavy rotation on New York’s radio station Hot 97. Styling On Them Lames: Tyga Rocking A Gold-Plated “H” Hermes Belt

Yesterday Friday (October 28), Philly’s radio station Power 99 Fm held their annually ”Power House” concert at the Wells Fargo Center. YMCMB rapper Tyga was one of the performers at the event. The Compton native was styling on them lames in a gold-plated “H” Hermes belt. Tyga was also wearing a pair of Versace sunglasses, a red leather jacket with the matching cap. Tyga’s new album Careless World will be out this Fall.

Sneaker Me Dope: Teyana Taylor Rocking Air Jordan VI “Infrareds”

This past Wednesday (October 26), socialite Teyana Taylor was spotted hugged-up with her rumored boyfriend NBA player Brandon Jennings. She was rocking a pair of Air Jordan VI “Infrared” sneakers. This sneaker feature an all black suede upper with red accents, including around the clear sole and visible air sole unit, as well as the Jumpman logo and lace locks. According to a rumor that was recently posted on AllHipHop.com, the Harlem native officially signed a deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label. I was just thinking about Teyana the other day. The last time I saw her was when I ran into her at Atmos sneakers store in Harlem. Much success Teyana in all of your future endeavors.

Opening Night: Jay-Z & Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne” Tour Kick Off In Atlanta [PICTORIAL]

Atlanta sure was the city to be last night Friday (October 28). Jay-Z and his little brother Kanye West kicked off their “The Throne” tour at the Philips Arena. The Throne aka Jay-Z and Kanye West opened their set in a creative way. They entered the arena in two cube-shaped mini stages to the music of “H•A•M.” The show lasted for about 2 1/2 hours. They performed tracks from their platinum-selling album, entitled Watch The Throne, before doing their solo sets. Peep the pictures below:

DJ Khaled Receives Platinum Plaque: “I’m On One” Reached Over One-Million Digital Download [WITH PICTURE]

This past (July 2011), I reported that DJ Khaled’s “I’m On One” Ft Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne sold over 500,000 copies, earning a gold certification from the RIAA. A week later, the single reached the #1 position on the Billboard charts. “I’m On One” was the first #1 single for DJ Khaled and Rick Ross. Three  months later (October 2011), the single reached platinum, selling over one-million digital downloads. DJ Khaled new album We The Best Forever is now in stores and online. The disc has collaborations from Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole, Ludacris, T–Pain, Cee-Lo, Wacka Flocka, Jeezy, Birdman and others, with productions from The Runners, Renegade, Danja, Lex Lugar, Nasty Beat Makers, Boi-1da and others.

Styling On Them Lames: Fabolous Rocking Air Jordan IV “Thunders” & Hermes Belt

This past Wednesday (October 26), Brooklyn’s rapper Fabolous was spotted making his way to Wale’s album listen session at the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel in New York City. Fab was styling on them lames in a pair of Air Jordan IV “Thunder” sneakers with a gold-plated “H” Hermes belt. This sneaker was released back in 2006 and is part of the Thunder and Lightening Pack. This colorway features an all black suede upper with yellow accents, including the midsole, lacing holes and the material seen under the plastic grated mesh.
