R&B songstress Monica is still in NYC marking her promo rounds. She recently appeared on 106 & Park, VH1, Morning Buzz and various radio shows. She is in the Big Apple to promote the Wood Star Festival with her husband Shannon Brown which will take place in Shannon’s hometown (Chicago) during August 17-19. The event will feature live performers from music artists including Monica and a celebrity basketball game which will raise money to help kids in the inner cities. Monica was spotted shopping at Intermix. She had on a red jacket, white jeans and tee-shirt paired with colorful sneakers. Monica accessorized her outfit with an oversized Chanel bag.
