The very beautiful and creative Solange Knowles recently traveled back to the motherland (Africa) to film her new visual “Losing You”. She shot scenes in Cape Town, South Africa. The track will appear on Solange’s upcoming album that she is working on. ELLE South Africa‘s Fashion Director, Asanda Sizaniwas styled Solange for this visual. Moma Knowles and Andre Harrell accompanied Solange to South Africa for the shoot.
The YBF mentioned that Solange told the Sunday Times, “The locations for my video will largely be inspired by the color in the architecture and townships around here. We’ll just take a camera and see what happens.” She also described “Losing You” as “eclectic with ’80s references and African percussion influences”.
