NBA player LeBron James of the Miami Heat is the 2012 Sportsman of the Year and last night Wednesday (December 5), he was honored by Sports Illustrated at Espace in New York City. LeBron’s fiancée Savannah Brinson accompanied him to last night’s event. Music mogul Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé were also in attendance. All four of them looked nice for the occasion. Check out LeBron though, looking all dapper!
During his acceptance speech, LeBron gave some advice to the youth who looks up to him: “What I would say to that kid is there are going to be a lot of ups and downs, and there are going to be a lot of expectations. There are going to be a lot of pitfalls, too. But it’s how you come back from those pitfalls and how you come back from those situations that will define you.”
