Donovan “Don Bleek” Moore has always had a keen eye for music, fashion and entertainment. A prominent blogger, journalist and newspaper contributor with a unique writing style that caught the attention of not only music publications, but Brooklyn’s newspaper, Spring Creek Sun. Don Bleek is currently working in the digital marketing department at Universal Republic Records and has a feature article and Hip-Hop section in Spring Creek Sun’s bi-weekly publication. Because of the success of his blog www.yodonbleekraps.com, he’s been tapped by various clothing companies for sponsorship, publications and industry publicists for events coverage.

In May 2010, the New Jersey native earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies with a minor in Africana Studies from Rutgers University (New Brunswick). In the months prior to launching his own blog http://yodonbleekraps.com which averages 300,000 views per month, he interned at a few music publications including XXL magazine, Complex magazine and www.globalgrind.com. He adds these internships to his time as a media consultant with ThedaDotCom, LLC. He also worked as a contributing writer for Hip Hop Weekly.

During his time at XXL, he wrote news stories for their website and got an article published in the May 2010 issue. At Global Grind, he covered VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors: Dirty South. He also covered various music events such as the ‘MMG Self Made Vol. 2 Listening Event’, ‘Rick Ross/MMG Press Conference’ at Eventi Hotel in Manhattan, ‘Red Bull Music Academy World Tour Stop in NYC/The Dipset Concert’ at the Best Buy Theater, Lil Kim’s ‘Return Of The Queen’ tour at the Paradise Theater in NYC, ‘T.I. &  Tiny: The Family Hustle’ NYC Screening Party, ‘Coors Light and Ice Cube search for the Coolest MC 2012’ and Peter Rosenberg Presents: A Night of Real Hip Hop’.

He has interviewed T.I. & Tiny, Juelz Santana, J. Cole, Pilar Sanders and Hot 97′s K. Foxx. for the publication. Don Bleek is also known for covering various industry events (see complete list here).

He is mainly focusing on running his fast-growing blog http://yodonbleekraps.com/ which highlights Entertainment News | Fashion | Music | Reality TV. One of Don Bleek’s most rewarding ways to give back to the youth is by being a featured Motivational Speaker at various high schools and colleges.
