Sneaker Me Dope: Rick Ross Rocking Air Jordan 10 “Chicago”

Rapper Rick Ross recently uploaded a picture to his instagram account. Rozay was rocking a pair of Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” sneakers. Classic hints of red make their way to a Jumpman on the heel, red-striped outsole and culminating amidst the checkered interior lining. A debossed tongue hit and a tonal nylon heel tab round out the iconic shoe. These sneakers pay tribute to MJ, when he played with the Chicago Bulls. God Forgives, I Don’t coming soon.

Poppin Bottles In Atlanta: Fabolous Drops $45,000 On 120 Bottles Of Moet At Club Compound [With Pictures]

Rapper Fabolous sure is killin em when it comes to dropping racks on bottles. Money must not be a thing to Loso because over this past weekend, the Brooklyn rapper dropped $45,000 on 120 bottles of Rosé Moët at club Compound in Atlanta. Below is how TMZ is reporting the story:

Rapper Fabolous got a record number of people wasted last weekend in Atlanta — dropping $45,000 on 120 BOTTLES of champagne at a nightclub … and it was all a favor for his good friend. Sources tell TMZ, Fab bought the bottles of Rosé Moët as a present for his buddy — who was celebrating his birthday at Club Compound in Atlanta last Saturday. The bottles were delivered in a golden bath-shaped litter by club personnel — you know, that wheelless carriage thing royalty travels in … usually carried on the shoulders of their half-naked royal subjects. According to sources, Fab was hosting the event — and decided to show everyone in the club a good time by comping the endless flow of booze.”

Private Listening Session: Tyga Speaks On Being Consistent, Careless World & Working With Nas

Yesterday Tuesday (February 21), Tyga released his new album, entitled Careless World: Rise of the Last King. The disc has collaborations with Nas, Wale, Chris Richardson, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The Compton native invited popular Hip-Hop site AllHipHop.com out to a private listening session last week in Santa Monica, California, where they got a chance to preview the album. Tyga chatted with AHH for a few minutes about being consistent, his new album and working with Nas. Below are some excerpts:

In 2008, there were a lot of other New West artists that had a nice buzz going, but it seemed like you just came out of nowhere at that time.

I’ve been consistent since then. Maybe a lot of fans who were more in to the commercial than underground, feel like I came out of nowhere with “Rack City.” My fanbase has been there, and I think that’s another reason why “Rack City” is so big. Everything I do now is more impactful, because I’ve built such a good fanbase.

Why did you chose Careless World for the album title? And what else do you have on the horizon?

I wanted to do a theme album – something that relates to the world in my own words. I have the Careless World tour starting on February 21. We are doing that for about two and a half months here in the States, and then we’re going to take it overseas.

You’ve got Nas on this record – a Hip-Hop legend! How did you land that feature?

I sent him a record about seven months prior to the “Kings and Queens” song. He never got back to me. One day, he just called me out of the blue and congratulated me on my success and asked if I had anything that he wanted to send to him. So I sent him the “Kings and Queens” song that night, and he sent it back the next day. Shout out to Nas – that sh*t is crazy.
