Super DJ-turned-producer and mogul DJ Khaled alongside rapper Ace Hood and music mogul Birdman covers the June/July issue of The Source magazine. On the cover, DJ Khaled styled in a white leather sweatsuit paired with Air Jordan sneakers, a shirtless Ace Hood rocked black leather pants paired with Air Jordan sneakers and Birdman wore a white tee-shirt and jeans paired with Nike Air Force One’s sneakers. This issue arrives on newsstands June 18th. In the meantime, an excerpt is below:

From a local record store in New Orleans to being one of the top music moguls, DJ Khaled has quite the success story. As he gears up for the release of his forthcoming album, Suffering From Success, the DJ/producer/mogul continues to deliver some of the hottest anthems, the latest being “No New Friends” featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.

“What I do is the same thing your moguls do. Only I do it better. I make hits, and put hits out. I am We The Best music. I am the genius behind a lot of projects. A lot of No. 1 songs. I’m a f**king genius,” Khaled said.

Eve Dresses In Bright Upscale Designer Pieces For Her New York Post ‘Lip Lock’ Photoshoot

Tomorrow Tuesday (May 14), Ruff Ryder’s former first lady, Eve is set to drop her new album, Lip Lock. The project serves as Eve’s first official LP since 2002′s Eve-Olution. During Eve’s 11-year hiatus from music, she appeared in movies including Barbershop, TV show Glee and her own sitcom Eve. The multi-platinum recording artist also launched her Fetish clothing line. Speaking of clothing, in her photo shoot for the publication, Eve posed in a Jumpsuits, dresses, a bustier, shorts and a blouse from fashion brands including Mara Hoffman, Issa, DKNY, Just Cavalli, and Diane Von Furstenberg. She also wore heels by Christian Dior, Tibi, Giuseppe Zanotti and Nicholas Kirkwood. This Philly bred recently sat down with New York Post’s editor Michael Angelo Matos for an exclusive interview.

The album features productions by Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams with guests appearances from Snogg Dogg, Elliott, Sean Paul and Miss Kitty. “I wanted to work with people that I actually enjoy listening to,” she says. “And I wanted the people on this album to want to be there — not that it was a label calling in a favor. It felt right. It felt organic. Everything, every producer that’s on it, every side artist that’s on it, it all came together so easily. There wasn’t any frustration.”

Styled by wardrobe stylist Mozie Campbell, Chris Brown partied at Hollywood’s Playhouse Nightclub in a $1,115 Balmain Beige Cotton Zip Hoodie, blue Joes Jeans and $140 Task Force White sneakers. It’s pretty ironic that Breezy was wearing this Balmain hoodie because last night, I dined at Philippe in Manhattan with a friend, followed by a visit to Barneys. While looking around, I picked up this same hoodie. I didn’t have any intentions of buying it though, but the hoodie is dope.

Fashion Killa Of The Day! Shatta Balla From The Bronx, NY

Today’s (April 2) fashion killa of the day is Shatta Balla, who is an aspiring fashion stylist & designer from the Bronx, New York. In the past, Shatta Balla released a limited edition line of tee-shirts, called “Dope Money”, which sold out quickly. Sometime this summer, he plans to re-release the line with more designs, prints and colors. Some of his favorite designer brands are True Religion, G-Star and Gucci. He also enjoys shopping at boutiques and department stores including Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Mr Porter and First Stop. This fashionista also enlisted Meek Mill, Juelz Santana, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T and Future as some of his most stylish male celebs. Model & Actor Spotlight: Yohancé Primus

Yohancé Primus is an 18-year-old aspiring model and actor who resides in Brooklyn, New York. He was born in Trinidad and migrated to the states at an early age. A few years ago, while taking a media class in high school, Yohancé developed a passion for modeling and acting. One of his teachers recommended him to pursue commercial modeling and acting because of his passion and his former teacher also noticed his talents. One day, Yohancé hopes to sign with a major modeling and acting agency. When he is not modeling, Yohancé enjoys playing soccer, football and basketball. He hits the gym daily to keep his athletic body in shape. “I can best describe myself as a professional young man with a great personality, well-disciplined and well-matured. I take modeling very seriously. I’m highly motivated and can work with anyone,” said Yohancé.
