Meek Mill, Kelly Rowland, Teyana Taylor, Tika Sumpter, Rick Ross & Karruche Tran Hit The Red Carpet For BET’s ‘Rip The Runway’ 2013

BET’s 9th Annual ‘Rip The Runway’ is currently being recorded at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. The show is scheduled to air on March 20th at 8pm and will include performances by Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Luke James, Jaden Smith, Omarion and more. This year’s event is hosted by singer Kelly Rowland and actor Boris Kodjoe. Celebrities including Meek Mill, Teyana Taylor, Tika Sumpter, Kelly Rowland, Bria Murphy, Rick Ross, Karruche Tran, and  Omarion were photo’d on the red carpet and inside of the main event. Ciara To Appear On BET’s ‘The Game’, Filming Already Went Into Production

Aside from working on her upcoming album, One Woman Army which is scheduled to drop soon, Ciara recently filmed some scenes for BET’s scripted show, The Game. Fans can expect to see the multi-platinum singer on a few episodes this upcoming sixth season, premiering in March. Ciara is a pretty good actress. In the past, she appeared in ‘All You’ve Got,’ ‘Mama, I Want To Sing!’ and ‘That’s My Boy’. Below are some pics of Ciara on set filming The Game.

Did It On Em: Lil Kim In A Black Leather Dress & Turquoise Heels At BET’s ‘Rip The Runway’

Tonight Wednesday (February 29), Lil Kim was photo’d on the red carpet at BET’s ‘Rip The Runway’. She was styling on them hoes in black leather dress and turquoise heels. The show is being filmed at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom and will be air on March 21st at 10 pm (EST). The annual fashion and music show will feature a performance by Lil Kim, Estelle, B.o.B., Wale, Diggy Simmons, Jeremih, and Meek Mill. According to Billboard, “This year, ‘Rip the Runway’ will focus on more than just five designers. Expect a variety of segments portraying both couture and casual, and a platform showing viewers how to mix both.”

Hitting The Stage: Lil Kim To Perform On BET’s ‘Rip The Runway’

BET’s ‘Rip The Runway’ will be airing on March 21st at 10 pm (EST). The annual fashion and music show will feature a performance by Brooklyn rapper Lil Kim. It was recently announced that Estelle, B.o.B., Wale, Diggy Simmons, Jeremih, and Meek Mill will also be performing at this year’s event. According to Billboard, “This year, ‘Rip the Runway’ will focus on more than just five designers. Expect a variety of segments portraying both couture and casual, and a platform showing viewers how to mix both.”

On March 9th (which marks the 15th year anniversary of Biggie Smalls death), Lil’ Kim is scheduled to appear on BET’s video countdown show 106 & Park.

Trina Says, “F**k BET” After Not Being Nominated For Any Awards

Miami’s femcee Trina isn’t happy with BET. Yesterday Tuesday (May 17) Terrance J and Rocsi of BET’s “106 & Park” announced the nominees for the 2011 BET Award. After releasing a successful album titled Amazin‘, BET still excluded Trina in the “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” category. Nicki Minaj, Cymphonique, LoLa Monroe, and Diamond, will all compete in that category. After the nominations were read, Trina took to her official Twitter account @ TRINArockstarr and expressed her anger/feelings toward the network by saying “F**k BET.”

I support Trina, she has every right to feel that way. For 12 consecutive years, Trina has been holding down female Hip-Hop all by herself. She released platinum and gold selling albums.

BET & MTV Bans Game “Red Nation” Video

Compton rapper The Game took to his Twitter account @TheGame to air out his anger toward BET and MTV; and to let his fans know the delay for his long-awaited video “Red Nation” Ft. Lil Wayne. According Game’s tweets, viacom banned the video because of gang affiliation. This Thursday Game will be premiering the video himself. Peep Game’s tweets below:
