Singer Keyshia Cole, her husband Daniel and their son DJ look great in their family portrait on the latest issue of Jet Magazine. On the cover KC gets glammed-up in a pink dress and sports a long platinum-blonde ponytail, Daniel rocks a blue sweater over top of a pink shirt paired with blue denim jeans, and Baby DJ looks cute in his Gucci jacket. I like KC’S personality and how she always stays humble. She is still that around-the-way girl who made it out of the ghetto but still reps for the people in the struggle. Below are some excerpts:
Daniel on how he shows love to his wife:
“Keyshia’s been through a lot with her mother and her family; so her whole make up is built around being a strong woman. I’m just trying to show her that I can be there for her.”
Keyshia on how her husband shows love to her in front of others and not afraid to show love in public:
“He has a beautiful spirit. And he’s not afraid to love publicly. I think our Black men are afraid to love publicly, and I’m not a fan of that.“
This issue is on newsstand now. KC is working on her new album, entitled Woman To Woman which will coincide with the premiere of her and her husband’s new reality show Keyshia & Daniel: Family First.
