Happily couple T.I. & Tiny (the couple of the South) was spotted flying out of LAX, catching a flight air route from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Of course, paparazzi caught the Harrises getting out their truck and walking through the airport. T.I. flew in styled! He rocked some colorful socks with the matching hoodie layered under a denim vest paired with $65 Akoo Pure Shorts in Nugget Gold and $505 Maison Martin Margiela sneakers from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. Any thoughts on T.I’s colorful outfit?

Rapper T.I. was recently spotted in NYC making his promo rounds as well as preparing for his sold out show at Manhattan’s Best Buy Theater. The King of the South dressed warm for the snowy weather in a $268 Diesel K-Regolo Sweater, Akoo denim jeans and Nike LeBron X’s sneakers. T.I. completed his outfit with a Striver Row Overcoat. Yesterday, Hip-Hop mogul, actor and author T.I. was spotted dining at Madeo in Beverly Hills with his wife Tiny and model/media personality Toccara Jones. Tip’s sneakers of choice were Air Jordan Retro 11 which he paired with blue denim jeans and a sweatshirt. Tip is currently covering the latest issue of The Source Magazine. He is also shopping a $75 million dollar distribution deal for his record company, Hustle Gang/Grand Hustle. Sony Records offered him $50 million; read the original story here.

T.I. Covers The Source Magazine Upcoming Issue

Atlanta’s multi platinum-selling rapper and actor T.I. finally grabs his first solo Source Magazine cover. The Hustle Gang CEO covers the Hip-Hop publication’s latest issue which is now available on newsstands nationwide. Dressed in a denim jacket, T.I. puts on his game face for the cover. Below are some excerpts:

On the heels of the release of his eighth studio album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, T.I. sits down with the Source for an exclusive and in-depth interview where the ATL-bred rapper talks in detail about his career, his family, and life after…

“Everybody’s gonna have their ups and downs. Just because I’m a celebrity, that doesn’t mean that I’m exempt from humanlike faults.”

T.I. who also snatched up a role in the upcoming comedy Identity Thief (which hits theaters on Feb. 8th) talks candidly about his future in Hollywood and how he’s diversifying his acting roles. “It’s my first comedy so I’m looking forward to seeing that. I just want to keep my tools sharp…. Different people see T.I. in different ways. As long as they ain’t giving me a rapper. That’s what I don’t want to do. Anything else, I’d pretty much be open minded within reason of course.”

Harlem’s Rapper Vado Is Still A Free Agent! T.I., Drake & DJ Khaled Are In Talks With Him

Don’t believe those other blogs, Vado is still a free agent and he did not sign a record deal over this past weekend. This Harlem kid was released from Interscope Records a while back and he is now shopping a deal. Vado had an offer on the table from DJ Khaled’s ‘We The Best’ imprint which is under YMCMB’s umbrella and distributed through Universal Music Group/Republic Records. As of yet, Vado did not accept DJ Khaled’s offer! T.I. has been in talks with Vado to join his Hustle Gang and Drake has also been looking at Vado to possibly join him at his new imprint at Warner Bros (All of Warner Bros. artists has been moved to Atlantic Records). Below is how industry insider Miss Info is reporting the story.

“So, I’ve been closely following the latest developments of our Harlem prodigy, young Vado….especially since we’ve been covering his career from when he first came on the scene with Cam. And it looks like there are some heavyweights all vying to sign Vado to various camps. Recently, Vado tweeted and deleted a subliminal about joining DJ Khaled’s We The Best team down in South Beach, and our sources say, Khaled is still the front-runner. But I’ve also heard that Drake has been looking at Vado to possibly join his new imprint at Warner Brothers, and T.I. has been in talks with Team Vado as well. Out of all three options, I think Khaled has a great track record for commitment (um…Ace Hood has how many albums already?) while Drake and 40 would bring the most diversity musically.”

T.I. Shopping For A $75 Million Record Deal; Sony Offered Him $50 Million

Last week, I reported that former Atlantic Records rapper T.I. fulfilled his contractual agreement with the label, is now a free agent and had a secret meeting with the executives over at Sony Records. According to Sandra Rose , “T.I. is on the verge of signing a new record deal with Sony.  T.I. and Grand Hustle CEO Jason Geter met with the head honchos of Sony Records to discuss a “big deal”. The big names in the room included Doug Morris, Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Entertainment; Shawn “Tubby” Holiday, A&R Sony Music; Mark Pitts, President of Urban Music at RCA/Sony and founder of Bystorm Entertainment; and Peter Edge, CEO of Sony’s RCA Music Group. The discussions also included a distribution deal for Grand Hustle Records.”

Now, TMZ is reporting that “T.I. is shopping a $75 million deal which will include three albums, 10-20% of publishing, touring, merchandise, film and TV rights, corporate endorsement deals, and exclusive singing of all Grand Hustle artists. Sources close to T.I. tell TMZ … he’s already met with some of the industry’s biggest names … including Dr. Dre, who asked him to join Interscope over dinner at Katana… and Jay-Z, who wants T.I. in the Roc Nation family. We’re told Sony’s put a $50 million deal on the table so far … and Universal’s meeting with him later this week to make an offer too.”

Multi-platinum selling rapper, author and music mogul T.I. was spotted dining on the California coast before he went to the Gangster Squad premiere in Los Angeles. For the event, T.I. wore an Akoo Forest Night Strong Arm Cardigan and grey denim jeans paired with Maison Martin Margiela Suede Polished Leather Two-Tone Sneakers which are currently on sale for $344 on the brand’ site. I like the cardigan a lot because it features a patch on the elbow, but I would have chosen another color to fit more with the jeans and sneakers. Maybe, a lighter color would have been perfect. I don’t like to wear light and dark colors together. Back in December, T.I. released his latest album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The New Head which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 179,000 copies in the United State.

Exclusive: T.I. Fulfilled His Contractual Obligations With Atlantic, On The Verge Of Signing With Sony Records

Back in December, multi-platinum selling rapper T.I. released his latest album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The New Head which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 179,000 copies in the United State. The Grammy Award winning rapper also fulfilled his contractual obligations with Atlantic Records when he dropped Trouble Man: Heavy Is The New Head. He is now a free agent and in the past, the Atlanta-native mentioned that he would like to finish his career at Atlantic Records but things may have changed. It is now being reported that T.I. had a meeting at Sony Records.

According to Sandra Rose , “According to my insider at Sony Records, rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris is on the verge of signing a new record deal with Sony. T.I., an artist on Atlantic Records since his 2001 debut LP, I’m Serious, left Atlantic’s lowball offer on the table and is considering offers from other major labels. According to my source, T.I. and Grand Hustle CEO Jason Geter met with the head honchos of Sony Records yesterday to discuss a “big deal” for T.I. The big names in the room included Doug Morris, Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Entertainment; Shawn “Tubby” Holiday, A&R Sony Music; Mark Pitts, President of Urban Music at RCA/Sony and founder of Bystorm Entertainment; and Peter Edge, CEO of Sony’s RCA Music Group. The discussions also included a distribution deal for Grand Hustle Records.”

I believe this story because Sandra Rose has a good relationship with T.I. and Tiny. I also think that this would be a good business decision on T.I.’s behalf.

New Music: T.I. Ft. A$AP Rocky “Wildside”

Atlanta rapper/The King of the South, T.I. releases “Wildside” Featuring Harlem’s own A$AP Rocky. The No I.D. track will appear on Tip’s new album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The New Head which arrives this Tuesday (December 18). I like this track a lot; it sounds good to me and reminds me of that young hungry Tip. On the track, Tip takes a trip down memory lane and reflects on his past childhood, especially his teenage years and how he started selling drugs. He’s giving the people an insight on where he come from, why he is the way he is and how the things that happened to him only happened to him and wouldn’t happen to anyone else.

I heard Tip’s new album and it is a good album. A lot of people are so quick to judge Tip without knowing his whole story. All they see is the outcome and the things that Tip been through but they don’t see why he made the choices that he made or why he really went through what he went through.
