Still Killing These Hoes: Naomi Campbell Fashion Spread In The July 2012 Issue Of “W” Magazine

International super-model Naomi Campbell is featured in the July 2012 issue of W Magazine. She took some stunning shots. Dressed in different upscale designer jackets, suits, pants, fur coats, bags, shoes and dresses, Naomi worked those cameras. Besides her past negative behavior, Naomi is a positive role-model for aspiring models, especially African-American females. For over 20 years, Naomi has been killing the modeling game. I think she is the greatest African-American female model. She opened up the doors for some of today’s African-American models, walked the catwalk and runways all around the world, was the first African-American model for French Vogue and graced the cover of over 500 renowned fashion magazines. This issue hits newsstand June 26th. Peep the pictures below:

Alicia Keys Covers W Magazine & Reflects On Her Entry Into The Music Business

The talented Alicia Keys has a spread in the June 2011 issue of W Magazine. In the spread, A Keys reflects on the 10 year anniversary of her debut LP Song In A Minor, which sold over 12 million copies worldwide. Also, A Keys talked about growing up in the Hell’s Kitchen section of Manhattan, being young with strong ideas, but no experience and people loving her for who she is. Below are a few excerpt:
Alicia Keys reflects on her entry into the music business saying:

“I just wanted to be who I was, which was like so many other girls I knew. We grew up in the city, had a hard edge and obstacles to overcome, but we were still young and beautiful. I didn’t want to be all dressed up, all made up—I wanted to be myself, which hadn’t been done before.”

On being young with strong ideas, but no experience:

“I was a young girl with very strong ideas but no experience. I just knew that everything else I was doing was wrong—that all the suggestions weren’t what was in my mind, they weren’t what it was meant to be.”

On people falling in love with the real her:

“How terrible would it have been if I had come out with some watered-down version of who I am? People fell in love with the real me, and I still feel blessed that that was how the journey began.
